Also, the more human side of Proton is a little scared of how much he /enjoys/ his "job", but his dominant violent side just says "fuck it this is too fun".
Somehow I have a feeling it might be easy to out-blackmail Petrel. How did that one post go…?

Could be! In the real world, at least, it’s a very old, very popular name—originating in Hebrew as Matityahu, then passing to Greek as Mattathias/Matthaios, then passing to dozens of other languages primarily through its use in the New Testament. The variant “Matthias” is very rare in English compared to “Matthew” - Matthias is more German, I think - but it’s still a name regardless.
