I don’t think that’s a wedding ring, though? Like, people in the Pokémon anime don’t seem to wear them. Gym Leader Norman and his wife Caroline don’t, for example, and they’re pretty darn married. (I love that episode where she thought he was cheating on her with the local Nurse Joy, haha.) So while I don’t think it’s unreasonable that Gio could be married, even to Ariana, I don’t think this screencap proves it. Though it does prove he is a pimp who likes wearing funky rings.

Yeah I’m not sure where the rest of it is if there is more. This is how it was when I found it, which is kind of disappointing to think that there is more that we’re not seeing.

If given the choice to go anywhere in the Pokemon universe- I would go witness that speech- off.

Me too, man. I would be there all day.

OK, so between yesterday and today I have managed to acquire Japanese versions of every anime episode that Team Magma and/or Team Aqua is in (with Chinese subtitles, but hey). However, ShoPro is pretty good about enforcing their copyright on YouTube, so I will find some way to get scenes from these into all of your hot little hands…eventually.
