Teenage Giovanni from How I Became A Pokemon Card. This picture is actually spoilers because the story actually features an unnamed little kid, and you’re not supposed to know that it’s young Gio until the last two pages. But it’s about this kid who finds an injured Persian and tries to take care of it and winds up having to take it to a pokemon center but the guy there sells it to poachers (who injured it in the first place) so the kid winds up running up to the moving truck with Persian inside and beating the lock with a rock until Persian gets loose. Then it cuts to years later when Red confronts Giovanni, who we know is the kid because he still has a scratch on his hand from when Persian still didn’t trust him. So now you know…the rest of the story.

Here is the promised greatest panel in anything ever. Ash getting punched in the face by a Rocket Elite. Nothing can possibly surpass that, and I was very disappointed that this wasn’t in the movie.

Something not a lot of people have seen–the manga adaptation of the 4th movie. While this artist makes…questionable choices (the movie 2 one completely destroyed the plot, wrote Melody out entirely, reduced Shamouti to only the shrine, and I don’t know who they were trying to pass off as Jirarudan but he acted completely out of character and then got killed off), but the movie 4 adaptation is pretty cool. It also has the single greatest panel in any manga ever, which I will link forthwith.

The doll is interesting. It was a promo for reserving Mewtwo Returns on DVD. Gotta tell you that was one messed up program. But Domino needs to come back sometime. Especially now since TR is being all srs bzns. Where are all the srs bzns Rockets who already existed? We get some new folk but none of the old ones?

This one I had to do a little differently so you could see all the stuff on him. Kyogre is kinda flat so it’s hard to see detail from a single angle.
Additionally, that is what I call some pirate booty.
