I also think they’ll take the opportunity to update the environments to make the game more fun and make more interesting visuals…ex. everybody hates the fact that the water routes are like one giant cave with tons of encounters, so instead of forcing you to Surf them, you could choose to Surf them OR pay a small fee to a guy to ferry you from point to point. WHO KNOWS, THOUGH. And yeah, I really hope they keep character customizations too…that’s hella sweet and everybody loves it.

Anonymous asked: How do think they will handle Team Aqua and Magma's story? Do you think they'll make it like Ruby/Sapphire or will they incorporate stuff from Emerald, like HGSS did with Crystal? Will they update their goals or will they still have the old silly ones? TBH, I was a little disappointed because I liked the joint storyline and it's highly likely we'll just get the "one team is good the other is evil" thing from the originals, instead of both being bad but with good intentions.

I assume they’ll do the joint storyline? And I definitely hope they keep the same level of stupid because that was part of the original charm. But we’ll see! I’m open to literally anything, even a sequel-type game that isn’t a remake at all.
