Here’s something that’s a first on the whole Internet–up-to-date pictures of the Team Magma/Team Aqua PT Cruiser! I can’t tell you how excited I am to share these! :D

Originally, this car was one of the “Lugiamobiles” (2001 PT Cruisers painted silver and decked out like Lugia) that Nintendo created in 2001 to promote the release of Gold and Silver. In 2004, this car was repainted to promote the EX Team Magma VS Team Aqua expansion of the trading card came, and auctioned off for charity on eBay. I recently contacted the winner of that 2004 auction, asking whether the car was still around, and the owner graciously sent me some pictures of it to share with the world!

I always imagined Cass having freckles along with a strong chin and a somewhat snobbish look. Hutch on the other hand just looks 1000% done with everything.
