Teenage Giovanni from How I Became A Pokemon Card. This picture is actually spoilers because the story actually features an unnamed little kid, and you’re not supposed to know that it’s young Gio until the last two pages. But it’s about this kid who finds an injured Persian and tries to take care of it and winds up having to take it to a pokemon center but the guy there sells it to poachers (who injured it in the first place) so the kid winds up running up to the moving truck with Persian inside and beating the lock with a rock until Persian gets loose. Then it cuts to years later when Red confronts Giovanni, who we know is the kid because he still has a scratch on his hand from when Persian still didn’t trust him. So now you know…the rest of the story.
