So after FYPV’s comment on this doodle, I couldn’t shake the idea of Charon and Xerosic meeting at some Global PokéScientists Convention… but then it occurred to me that they’d have a pretty major language barrier preventing the bulk of crazy awesome science plots.

Just imagine it: two tech geniuses who are stuck communicating in a second language that they’re only somewhat proficient in at best and too stubborn to learn at worst.

(Charon totally falls into the latter category because hey, it’s not *his* fault that people can’t understand his genius in his native language!)
