I felt like drawing some science husbandos dressed like their signature Pokémon, so that’s exactly what I did.
So after FYPV’s comment on this doodle, I couldn’t shake the idea of Charon and Xerosic meeting at some Global PokéScientists Convention… but then it occurred to me that they’d have a pretty major language barrier preventing the bulk of crazy awesome science plots.
Just imagine it: two tech geniuses who are stuck communicating in a second language that they’re only somewhat proficient in at best and too stubborn to learn at worst.
(Charon totally falls into the latter category because hey, it’s not *his* fault that people can’t understand his genius in his native language!)

Xerosic is so eager and giddy and a total dick and it’s hard for me to not like him. I get the impression that if he and Charon were to meet, Xerosic would be like an overexcited annoying younger cousin who follows Charon everywhere and completely ignores all attempts to shoo him away.

I’m probably the only person that would want this but… shut up. And by Charon I mean young!Charon when he was at Silph. Basically, I’m basing this on one, yes count that, ONE ask strip from Ask Charotom (“The Big Bad History Post, Vol. 1”). But hey, he’s cute then! He’s probably 30+ years old, but he’s cute!
I’d hit that, hell yeah, and this is coming from an awkward, home schooled high school freshman… that skipped a grade!
I mean, just imagine this: you get to play either a girl or boy working as an intern at Silph Co., right, and you’d run into Charon a couple times, right, and then R-18 shenanigans.
