According to the Pokémon Adventures manga, the first of August was Giovanni’s birthday. I wasn’t reminded of it until a while later, so there wasn’t a spam, so I figure I ought to do a little belated one…better than nothing, after all.

Damn, that cake looks tasty.

So yeah, as you probably just saw, I’ve been working on Giovanni with a tattoo suit.

I sketched it out a while ago, but I originally also had a front view with a gyarados’ head on his chest, in the fashion of an oriental dragon but decided against it. There was also going to be a magikarp but I thought, nah. Instead I modelled Persian after a sort of typical lion/tiger pose and went with that.

I rather like it.

I wonder what his poor mother thought…

Ahh I remember the translation for this one…the top is pointing out all the sexy features of the uniforms (bare midriff, miniskirt, zettai ryōiki etc.), and then May is like, “who friggin’ designed these things??” and the bosses are like “why IT WAS US, of course~~”
