This is from a book that has information on the movies. Sadly not a LOT of information, mostly just recapping the plots, but it did have this nifty image of the Hikoukyuu (sorry my scan cut off one of the…armor shields or whatever it is) and the freaky astrolabe-looking thing that we see at the beginning and never see again. Also we get Vicious’s spider mech! Apparently it can turn into a boat, something it never does in the film.

Funny story–I have a Jirarudan custom charm on my DS and a friend saw it and confused it for Ghetsis. I kidded her about how the only thing they have in common is spiky green hair and by that logic Cilan would be confusable for either of them. Then I get on Pixiv AND SEE THIS and laugh for about five minutes straight.
