JESSIE: Jessie, James, and Meowth reporting, sir!
JAMES: Our operations in the Hoenn region have brought glory to the name Team Rocket.
GIOVANNI: Do you really expect me to believe that?
MEOWTH: We figured it was worth a shot...
[ JAMES grabs MEOWTH. ]
JAMES: You're blowing this, Meowth!
GIOVANNNI: Are we done here? Get to the point!
JESSIE: Both the Team Aqua and Team Magma organizations in the Hoenn region have been completely eliminated, Giovanni, sir.
GIOVANNI: Yes, I already knew that. Is that all you have?
JESSIE: Then you should also know that it was us who destroyed them, sir.
GIOVANNI: What?
MEOWTH: Yes! We were battlin' 'em tooth n' nail! For awhile there it looked like we were goners, but we never gave up! An' finally, our bravery an' cleverness triumphed!
JAMES: And when we came out of our hiding place, they'd all just disappeared!
[ JESSIE and MEOWTH pounce on JAMES to silence him. ]
JESSIE: Obviously they were terrified and ran away from us!
GIOVANNI: ...whatever.

Who Shares An English Voice Actor?
I like looking up this kind of stuff anyway, so I made these: a sample of some villains in the anime and who they share their English voices with! It’s not an exhaustive list of either voice actors or their roles on Pokémon, just comparisons I thought were particularly funny or interesting.
I’d give the achievement award for Most Evil Voice Acting Overall to Marc Thompson, because of the seven major roles he’s had on Pokémon, five have been villains. Also, apparently he’s a minister in real life. The money I would pay to hear a sermon about the importance of the land mass in that amazing weird-ass nasally voice he gave Maxie…

So I could only do one of what I planned, since I forgot what color the Magma logo really was. For some reason I thought it was white too, but it’s like brownish grey with a red outline. I also thought I had black fabric for a Rocket bag but I only had black patterns. I looked at the store for grey for a Galactic bag but they didn’t have any, and let’s face it, Plasma’s logo is way beyond anything I could do right now.
And I forgot the blue and white fringe I got for this! But oh well.
It’s been like six months since I’ve added anything to the ArtistDex, so here’s an adorable piece by tiptory: Specialverse Matt and his Azumarill enjoying a snack. I have a huge soft spot for the Marill line; they’re all like some kind of squishy cute blubber rabbit. Blabbit.
