I’ve read a fanfic about this. And by “a”, I mean “several”

If anybody needs some incentive to watch the ninth movie at least once, here it is: Manaphy uses Heart Swap on these three, which makes them all switch bodies for a while. Jessie gets Meowth’s body, Meowth gets James’s body, and James gets Jessie’s body.

It works out exactly as well as you’d expect.
