I have a feeling this is some sort of punishment deal. Like he has to work at a mall Santa booth for a whole week and can’t make any children cry. And if he mentions the words “useless” or “deplorable”, in comes Cynthia in a Mrs Claus outfit and things will only get worse from there.

Palmer is probably Santa. Just because. And then Jun starts crying anyway because he wants Palmer to come home for Christmas and Cyrus glares at him and mutters “I cannot possibly be blamed for this.”
